Cutters is a high-end landscape design business in Austin, Texas. They offer a wide range of landscaping services and employ several professional designers, giving clients the choice to completely customize their outdoor space.

Their landscaping is known for having meticulous details and using sustainable methods – giving the homes of Austin and its surrounding areas a luxurious charm.

The Challenge

Cutters came to Blackhawk at only a few years old, with very little digital presence and low rankings.

Their biggest goal was growing their business – they needed help sourcing qualified leads who were interested in investing larger dollar amounts on Cutters full-service landscaping projects.

Blackhawk was set up to create an integrated marketing strategy consisting of a complete website revamp, search engine optimization, and digital advertising.

To set up a strong foundation for their growth campaigns, the Blackhawk team began by giving the Cutters website a facelift. The new design was then filled in with informational, keyword-heavy copy, and developed by our expert web team to ensure a seamless user experience.

Post-launch, the focus moved to growth. The Blackhawk team began to simultaneously run Google Ads and perform monthly SEO updates to the website, including adding word count to pages that needed a boost, and frequently updating portfolio pages with project descriptions and beautiful imagery.

After success with Google Ads, Cutters had us test out Facebook Ads and on this ad platform we had even more success. This has lead them to focus more on Facebook Ads going forward to fully maximize their budget.
