Lauren (she / her) is from Kansas City, Missouri, and studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Missouri State University. She moved to Austin after college in 2013 and has been designing for brands and digital experiences ever since. Outside of work you can find her being cottage core, practicing electric guitar, basking in the sun, or spending time with her husband, Travis, and their brand-new baby!
Lauren joined the Blackhawk team in 2022. Before working on the team, she spent seven years working in brand development and graphic design – giving her a seasoned eye for UX and UI design principles, layout, and brand representation in the digital space. She now leads our Web Design services, giving her the opportunity to use her passion for combining artistic creativity with technical proficiency to create websites that not only look exceptional but also meet business and user goals. She is passionate about listening to our clients, understanding their users, and moving forward to create effective digital solutions. Her favorite part of working at Blackhawk is the chance to collaborate with so many amazing team members across our Development, Copywriting, and SEO teams to deliver a quality product to our clients.
