Daria (she / her) was born in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Sakhalin, Russia. She grew up traveling around the world with her family (Germany, UAE, Dubai, and more!) until they settled in the suburbs of Northwest Houston, Texas. Daria was a competitive swimmer at her local club team, Cypress Fairbanks Swim Club, for 12 years before attending The University of Texas at Austin, where she received a Bachelors of Science in Advertising. In her free time, Daria enjoys playing games like pool (catch her on East Sixth), pickleball, and sand volleyball (through our company Austin SSC league), as well as paddleboarding on the lake and going on weekend trips with her friends.
Daria began working at Blackhawk in May of 2020 as a Copywriting Intern, and has been with our team ever since. During her time with us, she has found a love for the world of SEO. Her current role at Blackhawk is Senior Copywriter, but don’t be fooled – she spends her days creating and executing on holistic SEO strategies for our valued clients. From technical SEO, to local SEO, to on-site SEO, and more, her expertise and knowledge of the space allows us to provide winning results. She is also the lead copywriter for all of Blackhawk’s website projects.
Daria is an absolute whiz at SEO. She’s devoted the time to understand our brand story, tie it to our existing website, and make highly impactful recommendations that we can take to market and see results almost immediately. We are seeing scale and sustainability in these results as well.
