Sara (she / her) grew up in the Austin, TX area, and studied Art and Business at Texas State University in San Marcos. Her interest in writing can be traced back to the third grade when she discovered her love for poetry. Like any other Austinite, Sara enjoys hiking the Hill Country, exploring the live music scene (or singing along with the so-called family band), visiting the various Austin art galleries, and expressing her creativity through photography. She loves to camp, especially next to a body of fresh water, and spend time with her favorite people – her family.
Sara joined the Blackhawk team in early 2021 as a Copywriting Resident, where she specialized in maintaining client branding by crafting content in the form of blogs, web content, social media, email copy, and more. She is now a member of Blackhawk’s SEO team, where she uses her in-depth knowledge of technical, on-site, local, and off-page SEO to craft and execute holistic SEO strategies for our clients. She loves helping our clients win and is always working to deepen her knowledge of SEO. Her favorite part about working in the SEO department is that it combines the creative qualities of writing with the analytical qualities of research.
