Karlee (she / her) grew up in small-town Ohio – but that never stopped her from reaching big and far (and wide) for her dreams. She studied abroad in Italy, spent a summer living and working in Los Angeles, then finally settled in Austin, Texas after her college graduation in 2016. Karlee loves to explore new places, and some of her favorite places she’s traveled to are Australia, Hawaii, and Greece – to name just a few. As a designer, Karlee is always glued to her computer. If you’re lucky, you can also find her taking a dance class, swimming in local water holes, snuggling her pets Janie and Goose, cooking a new Pinterest recipe, or reading up on the latest astrology news. Be careful, because she will happily – and accurately – analyze your birthchart if you let her.
Karlee began her career with Blackhawk in 2018 as a Marketing Designer. She quickly scaled her way to our leadership team, where in 2023 she had the opportunity to Co-found a new brand and design agency, b3 studio, as a spinoff of Blackhawk’s Brand offering. At b3 studio, Karlee flexes her creative and entrepreneurial skills and gets to do what she loves most – building strong brands and stronger relationships with her clients.
