Emma (she / her) grew up in Katy, TX and studied Marketing at Auburn University. After being in Alabama for four years, she decided it was time to make her way back to Texas! When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her cycling through the Texas Hill Country, painting, cooking up something delicious, or reading a memoir with a cortado in hand. If you’ve ever met Emma, you’ve probably heard her talk about her Pedal the Pacific bike ride from Seattle to San Diego to fight domestic sex trafficking. She is passionate about everyone knowing that they are capable of being an advocate!
Emma is a member of Blackhawk’s Client Services team, which gives her the opportunity to develop strategies and communicate with our valued clients, keeping them up to date and informed on the status of their marketing efforts. Fun fact about Emma: she’s had experience on the servicing and client-facing side of the business – she started her career at Blackhawk working in Email Marketing! Today, her favorite part of her job is building relationships with her clients, and helping get them solutions by working closely with team members from every department at Blackhawk – from SEO, to Ads, Social, and even Web.
I have been really pleased with the team and would like to commend Emma for taking the lead on our account – you have been an outstanding account manager since you took over.

Emma has such a talent in empathizing with members on the team, as well as the clients she works with! I leave every conversation with her feeling heard and encouraged. She also has given some wonderful Wicked Smart presentations that are full of her personality and strengths! Her kindness radiates throughout the office and getting work with her is such a gift!
Emma may just be the kindest person I’ve ever met, and she’s also brilliant! Empathy and active listening are some of Emma’s biggest strong suits. She has the ability to put both clients and team members at ease. At Blackhawk, she contributes to a better, more efficient workplace, but she also makes a difference outside of work (ask her about Pedal the Pacific).
