Wren (they / them), a Hill Country native, is a recent graduate from Texas State University with a BS in Digital Media Innovation with a concentration in Multimedia Production and a minor in Art & Design. After work, Wren can be found with their nose in a book, porch-sitting and bird-watching, embroidering, or entertaining their two (rotund) cats. Wren says they’re 24, but we’re convinced they’re actually 65.
They’re proud to say they started their digital marketing career with their dream job. As a Web Specialist at Blackhawk, Wren does everything from Web Development, to Technical SEO to website launches. They love the wide variety of work they do and the breadth of clients they get to work with. Their favorite part of their job is developing digital experiences that realize the vision of our Web Design, Content Development, and SEO teams, and breathe life into clients’ brands to help them win.
Wren is your person when something hits the fan. They’re willing to jump in and tackle any problem you throw their way, even if it’s something they’ve never dealt with before. I’ve interrupted their day countless times with the problems I run into and they’ve never turned me away – rather, they’re happy to teach me how they solved the issue for future reference. Truly an icon!
