Jonathan (he / him) is a family man. He’s been married to his beautiful wife, Sarah, since 2005 – going on 18 years! They have three wonderful children: Julia (15), Hannah (14), and Joseph (11). As a family, they love to travel and have been to seven countries across Europe and 25 states together. Beyond family time, Jonathan loves to hit the basketball court or watch his favorite team, the San Antonio Spurs. Now for the classic CEO spiel, “Watching the Spurs growing up, then experiencing the 20-year run as the winningest professional sports team during that time has made a huge impact in the way I built Blackhawk. We are a culture-driven, humble-from-the-start, company – and we’re 100% focused on player development within the organization.”
Jonathan is an accomplished entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of Blackhawk. With a strong background in marketing and a focus on innovation, Jonathan has been instrumental in establishing Blackhawk as a leading agency in the industry. Before launching Blackhawk, Jonathan gained valuable experience at Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, and Bazaarvoice, a prominent tech company where he played a significant role in shaping the marketing analytics program. His contributions to Bazaarvoice were instrumental in their success, and he worked with the team during a critical period leading up to the company’s IPO. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in digital marketing, Jonathan founded Blackhawk to provide top-tier marketing solutions for businesses that don’t have enterprise budgets. Under his leadership, the agency has thrived and served over 300 clients in just seven years, making a significant impact in the lives of many.
Jonathan is genuine, kind, and clearly cares not only about his clients’ business success, but their lives beyond the business world as well. Jonathan and his team crafted a marketing plan ideally suited towards my unique needs and modest budget. I cannot wait to start working with Blackhawk!
